If you are here reading this for the first time, thank you for indulging. I am starting this blog because I firmly believe I have a lot to say, I have a lot of thoughts that I write down, and I have the time. Time is something we all become scared of losing. When you’re a child, time is not something to be seen as scary, but something we do not even realize is there. Is that not the best thing? Not realizing time is there? I think, yes. Once you hit your Senior year of high school, time is of the essence. It is almost in danger, and you always feel like you are trying to keep up with it. You’re running after things you did not realize you had to. Such as, seeing each and every one of your friends enough so that by the time you leave you feel satisfied with the time you spent with them. Somehow though, everything contradicts each other. While you are busy making up for that time with your friends, or your significant other, you are losing time with your family. And it all goes around and around like a cycle. Next thing you know, you are leaving for your new journey and your new life.
However, that is not always a bad thing. I think we get so caught up in worrying about time that we spend that period overthinking instead of using the time. We need to be able to stop and realize that we have enough of it. Not even just enough, but more than enough. If you are reading this, you are probably young. So like me, you have more than enough time to figure out the things that cloud your head every single day. Use it to do what you love, and in between those durations that you are doing what you enjoy, you can do the things that you are obligated to, or that you are worried about. So again I say, I am starting this blog because I have noticed that I have the time and it will fuel my days, weeks, and months. So don’t struggle to worry about how much progress you are making. Instead, understand it is an ongoing cycle, so do what you truly want to. The most beautiful part is that you will find out more about yourself along the way.
